Know all men by there presents, that I William Dentzler of Campbellstown, Londonderry township, County of Lebanon and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
Item; I give, devise and bequeath to my sister, Catherine Dentzler, my Brick Dwelling House and lot of ground on which we now reside, situated in Campbellstown, PA., together with all the household furniture and other items of personal property that may be in my possession at the time of my decease, to have and to hold the said message and appurtenances and the said goods and chattels, for and during her natural like. I also give and bequeath to my said sister Catherine the sum of three thousand dollars ($3000), said sum of money to be taken charge of and placed out at interest, on good security by my executor hereinafter named and he shall pay the interest thereof, annually and regularly into the hands of my said sister Catherine, during her natural lifetime and should said annual income, thereof not be sufficient, then she shall have the privilege to use so much of the principal sum she may need for her maintenance (small part of will missing) best price that can be gotten for the same, and by proper deed, conveyance or assurances in the law, be duly executed and acknowledged to grant, convey and assure the same to the purchaser or purchasers thereof in fee simple, and after said part of my estate shall have been converted into cash money as aforesaid. I do will and direct that the same shall be divided into three equal parts or shares and disposed of as follows to wit: One full equal third part or share thereof, I give and bequeath unto my sister Elizabeth (intermarried with Henry Allwine) her heirs and assigns forever. One full equal third part or share thereof, I give and bequeath unto my sister Lydia Clayton (widow of Findley Clayton deceased) her heirs and assigns forever, and one full, equal third part or share thereof, I give bequeath unto my deceased sister, Polly Lehman's four children, Daniel, Caroline, Polly and Lydia, so that each of said children shall receive one fourth part of my said deceased sister Polly's share.
Item; My real estate situated in Londonderry township, Lebanon County, known as the "Old Homestead" and my real estate situated in Derry Township, Dauphin County, known as the "Hershey Farm", I do order and direct my executor to sell and dispose of, either at public or private sale, as soon as the same can be done conveniently and advantageously after my decease, and for that purpose I do hereby authorize and empower my executor, to sign, seal and acknowledge all such deed or deeds of conveyance as may be necessary (part missing) coming into the hands of my executor, and not herein before given and disposed of, I do order and direct to be divided into three equal parts or shares and disposed of as follows to wit;
One full equal third part or share thereof, I give and bequeath to my sister Elizabeth (intermarried with Henry Allwine) her heirs and assigns forever. One full equal third part or share thereof, I give and bequeath to my sister, Lydia Clayton (widow of Findley Clayton), deceased, her heirs and assigns forever, and one full equal third part or share thereof, I give and bequeath to my deceased sister, Polly Lehman's four children, Daniel, Caroline, Polly and Lydia, so that each of said children shall receive one fourth part of my said deceased sister Polly's share and in case I should survive my sister Catherine aforesaid, then it is my will that that part of my estate which I have given, devised and bequeathed unto her for her use during her natural life, shall be disposed of in the same manner as if she my said sister, Catherine had survived me. This part being fully explained in the beginning of this my last will and testament where the said bequests are made to my said sister, Catherine Dentzler, and lastly, I do nominate my neighbor , Jonas W. Ely to be the executor of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof, I William Dentzler, the testator, have to this my will, set my hand and seal this 4th day of June A.D. One Thousand Eight-Hundred and Ninety-two (1892)
