Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Philip Presbyterian Church, 745 W. Pipeline Road in Hurst. Interment: Mr. Carrier will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst.
He was a deacon and elder and longtime member of St. Philip Presbyterian Church. A graduate of UT Austin in electrical engineering, he spent 35 years at General Dynamics (Lockeed). P.F. served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force with duty in Korea and was the Republican Party precinct chairman for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don and Terry; and an infant son, David Lee.
Survivors: Loving wife of almost 57 years, Gloria; daughter, Paula Lynette Clouatre; sister, Diane Belcher and her husband, Bryant; niece, Tammy; nephew, Dale; along with other relatives and many friends.
