Pieter Idawart Hogerseijl is my Grandfather,married with Margaretha van Renswouw, the got two children, Wilhelmina Arnolda Hogerseijl(my mother) and Arie Simon Hogerseijl. My Grandfather was a very nice and kind person, always playing with us when he was at home. At the beginning of his marriage he was sailing as cook on the Netherlands-Amerika line. Later he was cook in first class restaurants.
