Marina N. Montanus, age 44, of Morris passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 29, 2008.
Born March 15, 1964 in Krasnoyarski-Krey, Russia, Marina is a daughter of Tatiana Burova of Russia and the late Nikolei Puhkov. She was raised and educated in Moscow and on February 07, 1997 Marina married David Montanus in Morris, Illinois. She worked as a seamstress of both clothing and home interiors and was formerly employed in alterations at Baum's in Morris. Marina truly enjoyed her pets, gardening, reading and classical music.
Survivors include her husband David and three children, Yegor "Gosha" Sidunov, Ashley Nicole Montanus and Austin Gabriel Montanus, all of Morris; one aunt, Katya Burova of Israel and two cousins, Alla Fuller of Salisbury, North Carolina and Sasha Burov of Israel.
Marina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Semyon and Nadezhda Burova; father, Nikolei Puhkov and step-father, Peter.
