Velda Deloris Bowman, 47, of Three Springs, R.D. 1, died at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 1980 as a result of injuries suffered in a two car traffic accident in Cromwell Twp.
She was born Feb. 26, 1932, in Clay Twp., Huntingdon Co., a daughter of John and Sarah (Kelly) Fields. She married James H. Bowman of Three Springs, R.D., on Aug. 2,1969, at Three Springs, R.D.
She is survived by her husband and mother, Mrs. Sarah Fields of Three Springs, R.D. 1.
Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Wayne (Adalene) Rough of Saltlllo, and two brothers, Gerald Fields of Smithfield and Harold Fields of Three Springs, R.D. 2. A.
Housewife, Mrs. Bowman attended Center Grove Brethren in Christ Church, Three Springs, R.D.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 1980, from the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home in Orbisonia. Officiating will be the Rev. Marion R. Walker and interment will be made in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, R.D. Friends may call at the funeral home between the hours of 2 and 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the services on Monday.
