Mrs. Owen died Monday, August 16,1976, at her home.
She was born, Feb. 24, 1902, in Clarksville, Texas to William
f. and Frances Elizabeth Cooper Russell.
She moved to Konawa when a child and resided here the rest of her life. A homemaker, she was married to William Owen, Oct. 27, 1959. He died July 18, 1967.
Mrs. Owen was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Konawa.
Survivors include two sons, Harold H. Haman, Oklahoma City, and James F. Gaines, Del City; two daughters, Bobbie Jean Brinlee and Betty Fay Foran; both of Oklahoma City, ; four brothers, R. D. Russell and Jess Russell, both of Konawa, Virgil Russell, Avery Texas, and D. D. Russell, Corpus Christi, Texas, two sisters, Betty Winfrey, Henderson, Texas, and Lucille Hodge, Oklahoma City, 17 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
