BERGLUND - Eugene "Gene" Odette, was born October 6, 1942, in Tulsa, OK, to Ernest Eugene Berglund and Gladys Haas Berglund. He passed away October 2, 2008, in Collinsville, OK, surrounded by family.
Graduated from Cascia Hall in 1960, attended Oklahoma State University, and went on to serve in the OK Army Reserve receiving an honorable discharge. Gene retired from American Airlines as a Master Computer Operator. Member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Collinsville, OK.
Gene is survived by: his wife, Sally McGuire Berglund; children, Sean Berglund, Shannon Bingham, Joellen McGuire, Larry McGuire; grandchildren, Gracelyn, Sarah, Joseph, Madison, Christopher, Haley, Kimberly; special niece, Mrs. David Elliott; sister-in-law, Martha Brock; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be held Sunday, October 5, 7 pm at Reynold's Funeral Chapel. Funeral mass will be held Monday, 10 am at St. Therese, 1007 N. 19th St., Collinsville. Burial will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville.
