Mrs. Geo. Yost To Be Buried in Callahan County

OVALO, July 2 – Mrs. George E. Yost, 59, died unexpectedly at 1:15 am Tuesday at her home at Lawn. Death resulted from a cerebral hemorrhage with which she was stricken early Monday night.

The funeral will be held at the gravesite in Tecumseh Cemetery Callahan County, this afternoon at 4 o'clock, with Rev. Dick Bright, Baptist minister of Potosi, officiating.

Mrs. Yost was Caroline Herrmann, born at Dayton, Ky., November 22, 1875. She was married there to George Yost, October 28, 1902, and then moved the next year to Callahan County, settling in the Tecumseh community. After a year of residence there, Mr. and Mrs. Yost moved to Lawn, where they had resided since. Mrs. Yost joined the St. Paul Evangelical church at Dayton in girlhood and retained her membership there.

Survivors are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Christine Davis of Clyde; a son, George Yost, Jr. of Lawn; three brothers, John, Adolph and Martin Herrmann of Dayton, and a sister, Miss Christine Herrmann of Lawn.
Burial will be made under direction of M. A. Horton of Ovalo.
