Rites Wednesday For J. D. Windham, Accident Victim
CLYDE – Funeral will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday at the Oplin Baptist Church for J. D. Windham, 15, of Rt. 1 Ovalo, who died of wreck injuries Monday.
Burial will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery, northwest of Oplin, with Bailey Funeral Home in charge.
The youth died in St. Ann Hospital in Abilene Monday afternoon of injuries received in a one-car accident early Sunday south of Clyde.
A native of Oplin, he had lived in that area all his life and attended school at Clyde.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Windham, four brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jack May, Walden May, Kelvin Rogers, Harold Steakley, Walter Matthews, and Charlie Tom Straley.
