Callahan County Man Is Victim Of Pneumonia; Rites Today

Pneumonia developing from complications arising out of an injury received November 8 proved fatal Saturday to Thomas H. Tunnell, 51, resident of the Tecumseh community in Callahan County. Mr. Tunnell succumbed at 2 pm in a local sanitarium.

He was injured when run over by his car, as he attempted to stop it from rolling down and incline. Mr. Tunnell was confined at his home for several weeks, being remove to the hospital here ten days ago when pneumonia developed.

Funeral services, to be directed by Laughter Undertaking company, will be held at the graveside in the Tecumseh Cemetery at 2 o'clock this afternoon.

Surviving Mr. Tunnell are his wife and seven children, Mrs. E. E. Davis, Gilbert, Ariz., Vera Fay and Nina Mae, Audice and Owen, Tecumseh; Seth Tunnell, Colifax, La., and R. C. Tunnell, Wichita Falls. Other survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Tunnell of Tecumseh; three brothers, J. L., Van Nuys, Calif., Will of Zephyr, and Jim Tunnell of the Denton community, Callahan County; and four sisters, Mrs. M. E. Howton, Deming, N. M., Mrs. I. R. Keele, Denton, and Mrs. Clara Stone and Mrs. Sara McGill of Tecumseh.
