Wyverne W. Catlin, 76, of Barron died Oct. 6 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Funeral services were Oct. 10 at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland, with the Rev. Steve Miller officiating and burial in Northeran Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner.
Mr. Catlin was born Aug. 28, 1932 to Clyde and Alice (Gabrielson) Catlin in Polk County. He grew up in Polk County and served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He was a dairy farmer for many years and also worked for Stokeley's. He married Hazel Poirier on May 5, 1981in Barron.
He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Catlin of Barron and Christine Catlin of Clayton; a stepson, Chad Poirier of Barron; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mardel Barnette of Turtle Lake; and his former wife, Hazel Wendelschafer of Spooner.
