Mrs. Tom Johnson of Oplin, sister of Mrs. Ed Wristen and Mrs. N.G. Farmer, and Mrs. Bob Cutbirth of Baird died at the home of her sister, Mrs. H. Schultz in Abilene on Monday and was buried at Tecumseh on Tuesday. Mrs. Johnson came to the United States in 1878 and settled at Colony Hill with her parents. They later moved to the Dudley Community in Callahan County and she married Tom Johnson in 1880. Since that she, she has lived in Oplin. Her husband preceded her in death. Mrs. Johnson was a good Christian woman. She had been a member of the Methodist Church since 1877. Survived by her mother; three sons - Will, Andrew, and Eulls; two daughters - Mrs Will Poindexter, Mrs. Boone Laken; four sisters mentioned above; three brothers - Albert Betcher, Henry Betcher, Otto Betcher.
