Pioneer Tecumseh Resident Buried

E. A. Hodges, 80-year-old farmer of the Tecumseh community in Callahan County, was to be buried today.

Funeral services were to be read at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the graveside in the Tecumseh Cemetery. The Rev. Dick Bright, Baptist minister, was to conduct the rites. Burial will be directed by Elliott's Funeral Home.

Mr. Hodges died at his farm home shortly before noon Thursday. Ill since last fall, he has been confined to his bed for the last month. The elderly farmer and landowner, a native of Tennessee, moved to Callahan county 30 years ago from Mason county. He was a member of the Christian church.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Willie Lewis; a son D. Hodges; and three grandchildren. All live near Dudley.
