Dolph Hodges Dies; Rites Set Today
BAIRD (RNS) – Dolph Hodges, 73, Dudley community farmer, died about 8:30 am Saturday at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 26, 1885 in Coryell County, he married Bonnie Tunnell in 1915. He had lived in Dudley since 1907 and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday in the Church of Christ in Dudley. Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery near Dudley under direction of Wylie Funeral Home of Baird.
Pallbearers will be Morlon Whitley, Jesse Coffman, Jim Barton, Ira Crawford, Lawson Armor, and Les Crane.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Allen of 2320 S. 7th St. in Abilene, one daughter, Mrs. Jack Chapman of Fayetteville, Ark., one sister, Mrs. R. E. Lewis of Coleman, and four grandchildren.
