Elderly Callahan Woman Succumbs
BAIRD, Aug. 6 – (Spl) - Mrs. E. A. Hodges, 83, resident of Tecumseh community in Callahan county since 1907. died at her home at 1:45 p. m. Sunday.
Graveside rites will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Tecumseh cemetery.
The former Cinthia Ann Cox, Mrs. Hodges was born April 19. 1861 in Bell County. She was married to Mr. Hodges Dec. 25, 1883.
Survivors include two children, Dolth Hodges and Mrs. Willie Lewis both of Tecumseh, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hodges had been a longtime member of the Church of Christ.
