Funeral Sunday for Mrs. Hodges

Funeral for Mrs. Dolph Hodges, 64, of Wylie will be held at 3 pm Sunday in the Highway 36 Church of Christ, with Aubrey F. Mercer, minister of Wylie Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery south of Dudley under the direction of Kiker-Warren Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hodges died at 5 pm Thursday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Pallbearers will be I. J. Chapman, Harvey Wise, Lee Beaty, Orlan Barton, C. P. Sherman and Otis Sandlin.

Born Feb. 24, 1901, in Callahan County, she was married in 1916 at Baird. They lived in the Dudley community until 1958, when they moved to Wylie.

Mr. Hodges died in 1958.

Mrs. Hodges was a member of the Dudley Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Allen of Rt. 3, Abilene; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. Chapman of Scott AFB, Ill.; a brother, Ray Tunnell of Kerman, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. B. B. Smith of Midland, Mrs. Ruth Kiser of Winters, Mrs. Clint Dean and Mrs. Buck Hartley, both of DeGorgio, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
