LAWN – Mrs. J. H. (Nona) Harrison, 87, of Lawn died at 11 pm Friday in Stewart's Nursing Home in Lawn following a long illness. Graveside rites will be at 1 pm Sunday at Tecumseh Cemetery near Dudley.
The Rev. V. D. Walters of Elmwood Baptist Church in Abilene will officiate. North Funeral Home of Abilene is handling the arrangements.
Born Nona Cook July 28, 1886, near Stephenville, she married J. H. Harrison in 1930. They lived in Abilene at 1541 Cottonwood until he died in 1962.
Survivors include a stepson, Hulon Harrison of 834 Peak; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Nina Hailey of Houston, and Mrs. Paula Hailey of San Antonio; five step-grandchildren and several great and great-grandchildren.
