WELLMAN – Mrs. Olvena Betcher Cutbirth, 97, of Wellman and formerly of the Dudley community south of Abilene, died at 12:15 pm Tuesday in Brownfield Nursing Home in Brownfield.
Gravesite services will be 4 pm Thursday at Tecumseh Cemetery near Abilene; directed by Brownfield Funeral home.
Born March 21, 1882, in Dudley, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Roy of Abilene; one daughter, Melba McKenzie of Wellman; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
