Robert Lonzo Armor, 35, of San Angelo, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Big Spring Veteran Hospital following an extended illness.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Elliott's Chapel of Memories with Bill Eason, minister of the Oplin Church of Christ, and Jack Lanham, minister of Highway 36 Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Tescumseh Cemetery.
Mr. Armor was born April 4, 1934, in Oplin and attended schools in Denton Valley, marrying Charlyne Johnston in 1955 in Abilene. The couple moved to San Angelo in 1958. Mr. Armor was a veteran and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of San Angelo; two sons, Randy and Bob, both of the home; one daughter, Miss Becky Armor of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Armor of Rt. 2 Clyde; one brother, John Armor of Rt. 2, Clyde; two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Lawrence of Rt. 2, Cross Plains, and Mrs. Margaret Ellis of Whitesboro; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Armor, Rt. 2, Clyde; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. S. S. Harville of Oplin.
Pallbearers will be Lowell and Howard Johnson, Jay and Leamon Hayhurst, and Gary and Frank Chrane.
