Born August 12, 1926, in Hot Springs to Floyd Waldo and Annie Jon Lynch Emerson, he was a retired trucker.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary Kathryn "Katy" Walker Emerson of Hot Springs; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael Paul Emerson of Hot Springs and Aaron Christopher and Dr. Kimberly Emerson of Lowell; two grandchildren, Samuel Paul Emerson and Mary Kathryn "Katy" Emerson; one sister, Dorothy Robbins of Hot Springs; niece; and nephew.
The service will be 3 p.m. Monday in Lowe Cemetery, Royal, with the Rev. Dean Prince officiating.
