He was the son of George Bott and Susan Catherine (Gray) Bott
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with Rev. John P. McCurdy of the Coalport and Irvona M. E. Churches, officiating for Thomas Bott, who died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Coalport Saturday morning. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle (Bloom) Bott, two sons, Harold of Phoenix, Arizona, and Robert at home and a daughter, Marion at home. His mother, a brother and a sister also survive. Burial was made in the Beaver Valley Cemetery. (The Progress April 28, 1939)
