Services for Luther B. Lassiter, 87, who died May 2, 1990, were held May 5 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Horace Nall officiated the services. Burial was held at McCullough Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Vada Lassiter of Atmore; two sons, Maxwell R. Lassiter of Pensacola, Fla; Wayne Lassiter of Pensacola, Fla; one daughter, Ulynn Choate of Meadow Vista, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were grandsons: Michael Lassiter, Patrick Lassiter, Barney Lassiter, Roger Lassiter, Troy Lassiter and DeWayne Dreadin.
The John-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
