John Grady, 74, of 3422 Ryburn Rd. died Friday. He was a retired carpenter. Surviving are four sons, Milton, Thomas, Wallace and Alfred Grady, all of Richmond; five daughters, Mrs. Margaret Schleife, Mrs. Gertrude Thomas, Mrs. Louise Walke and Mrs. Thelma Gibbs, all of Richmond, and Mrs. Doris Temple of Portsmouth; two brothers, Thomas and Brown Grady, both of Richmond; six sisters, Mrs. Betty Amos of Sandston, Mrs. Goldie MacDonald of Highland Springs, Mrs. Elsie Lockett of Richmond, Mrs. Susie Ellis of Washington, Mrs. Annie Yates of Davidson, Mich. and Mrs. Mary Kavnaugh of Topeka, Kan.
A funeral service will be held at 4 pm Saturday at Joseph Bliley Funeral Home with burial in Maury Cemetery 2 pm Sunday Hawkins Funeral Home.
