GRANTSVILLE-Our beloved and respected husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Norman B. Adams, Sr., age 70, left his earthly home June 3, 1992, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born April 23, 1922, in LaPoint, Utah, to Fontella Matt and Merchie C. Adams. Married Evelyn Davenport Cook Octobr 16, 1954, in Elko, Nevada. Member, LDS Church. Member, Fraternal Order of Eagles for 33 years. Served in the Navy, in the Pacific, in World War II for three years. Retired after 29 years with the Tooele Army Depot. He loved and appreciated his friends and the outdoors, especially fishing, boating and traveling. He touched the lives of many with his kind and unselfish personality.

Preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, a daughter and one stepson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 11 a.m., in the Grantsville 1st/3rd/7th Ward, 415 West Apple Street. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment, Grantsville City Cemetery, under the direction of Tate Mortuary.
