Funeral services for Thomas Acuna, 27, who died Sunday at Lubbock Methodist Hospital after being struck by an auto, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Father Victorin Bachus will conduct the ceremony. Burial will be at the Texico Cemetery.

Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Mr. Acuna was born Sept. 22, 1955 in Estasian Pedricena, Durango, Mexico, and had been a resident of Clovis for eight years. He was married to Rena Olmos in 1974 in Santa Rosa, Mexico. He was a laborer with Golden West Seed Company in Texico and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rena, of the home; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Sotero Acuna of Clovis; one son, Jaradio Acuna; four daughters, Osbelia, Ana Maria, Dora and Beranica; five brothers, Polo, Isabel, Elionero, Jerardo, and Sotero Jr., all of Clovis; three sisters, Modesta and Tona of Clovis, and Maria of Mexico.

Pallbearers will be Fabian Flores, Alfredo Moreno, Pancho Chavarria, Chavel Arnelas, Chavel Acuna and Manuel Areneias.
