SOTERO ACUNA
Rosary services for Sotero Acuna, 61, of Clovis will be held at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The Rev. Daniel M. Balizan will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery.

Muffley Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mr. Acuna died Sunday in Clovis. He was born April 22, 1936, in Ten Amigos, Durango, Mexico.

He married Juana Puga on Dec. 5, 1952, in Mexico. The couple moved to Clovis in 1955; he was owner-operator of La Pulga Flea Market.

He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Community.

Mr. Acuna is survived by his wife; five sons, Lorenzo, Gerardo, Sotero Jr., Leonardo and Isabel Acuna; four daughters, Modesta Garza, Modesta Ortiz, Antonia Ramirez and Margarita Acuna, all of clovis; 31 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one son, Tomas, in 1982.

Mr. Acuna's sons will be casket bearers.
