Services for Marlie W. Ellinger, 85, of Hyde, who died Thursday, June 13, at 6 a.m. in the Clearfield Hospital, will be held at 1 p.m. today in the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with the Rev. David McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Crest Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home today until the time of services. Born April 17, 1900, in Luthersburg, he was the son of William and Jane (Lyons) Ellinger. He had retired from Harbison-Walker Refractories in 1963 and was affiliated with the Methodist Church. He is survived by a son, John P. Ellinger, Flint, Mich.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a son, William Lewis Ellinger of Akron, Ohio; five brothers and three sisters. (Thanks to Henrietta for providing this obituary)
