Both John and Elizabeth had been married previously so Lucinda had half-brothers and sisters on both sides of her family.
Lucinda married Daniel Marker on 17 July 1853 in Preble County, Ohio. There were seven children born of their union: Francis Marion, Mary Ellen (Cory, Herman, and Carpenter,), Daniel M., Elizabeth Catherine (Brown and Phillips), Laura Bell (Watts), George Brinton McClellan, and Ida Alice(Pace).
The picture of the children of Lucinda Nine Marker could have been taken at the time of her death. The identification is not known except for two. In my opinion starting from left to right in the back row: Francis Marion Marker (my ancestor and I have other pictures of him), Daniel M., and George B. M. Marker. Front row, left to right is Laura Alice Marker Watt (there are other pictures of her), Elizabeth Catherine Marker Brown Phillips and the older one should be Mary Ellen Marker Cory Herman Carpenter.
The one missing daughter would be Ida Alice Marker Pace who was eight months pregnant when her mother died.
Lucinda Nine Marker died on 23 February 1908 in Blackford County, Indiana and was buried next to her husband.
