He was born November 24, 1911 in Everett to Christian and Ellen (Sampson) Wold. He was a graduate of Everett High School. Lloyd was the owner of Wold Hardware from 1950 until 1984, and owner of Cascade Steel Door from 1975 until 1983. He was a longtime member and board director at the Everett Golf & Country Club. Lloyd served as a board director for Everett General Hospital. He was a life member of the Everett Elks and was president of the Everett Cascade Club.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Patricia, in 2000; brother, Cliff; and sisters, Mildred and Evelyn.
Lloyd is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Wold of Marysville and Barbara (James) Hauck of Everett; son, Chris (LeeAnne) Wold of Everett; six grandchildren, Ryan, Jason (Beth), Adam, Nick, Soren (Amy), Glen (Kelly); six great grandchildren, Jaymie, Cory, Austin, Alexa, Kate, and Lauren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15th from 10:00am until 5:00pm at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy. The private family graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. The Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 11:30am at Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller, Everett.
