Gordon Marshall Wastlick, 91, of Richland Center died Monday, October 20, 2008 at the Richland Hospital. He was born October 12, 1917 in Westford Township the son of Edward and Anne (Marshall) Wastlick.

On March 10, 1940 he married Mildred Irene Moore. The couple farmed for fifty-seven years in the Twin Bluffs area. Gordon loved his various dogs, gardening, fishing, and hunting. Gordon loved his family first and foremost and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Gordon is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mildred, four children, Margaret (Leonard) Moore of Reedsburg, Mildred (Thomas) King of Lone Rock, Nancy (Stephen) Faber of Tucson, AZ, Richard (Betty) Wastlick of Richland Center, 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Eldon (Lucille) Moore of Richland Center, sister-in-laws, Ellen ‘Birdie' Moore of Seattle, WA, Alta Connors of Black Earth, Ella ‘Ileen' Miller of Richland Center, first cousins, Byron (Evelyn) Marshall of Reedsburg, Don (Margaret) Marshall of Baraboo, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anne Wastlick, granddaughter, step-granddaughter, son-in-law, Jerry Meyer, brother, Clayton (Clara), Joel (Mary), John (Lucile) Wastlick, seven brothers-in-law, and three sisters-in-law.

Funeral services were held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center with Pastor Josh Pegram and Pastor Alice Richards officiating. Burial was held at the Loyd Cemetery.

Friends called at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, where a prayer service was held at 4:00 PM. Friends also called on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.

The Pratt Funeral Service of Richland Center assisted the family with their arrangements.
