Mrs. Minnie Isabell Abney died Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock in Brownsboro.

She was born in Henderson county on September 9, 1894, and had lived in the county all of her life. She was a member of the Barton's Chapel Church, named for her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Barton of Murchison.

Surviving are her husband, M.B. Abney; three daughters, Mrs. Merlon Carter of Brownsboro, and Mrs. George Owen and Mrs. B.R. Glover of Murchison; two sons, Bishop Abney of Brownsboro and Alton Abney of Murchison; seven grandchildren; her parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 11:30 o'clock at the Barton's Chapel Church, with the Rev. G.C. Mangrum officiating. Burial was in the Edom cemetery.The Carroll and Lehr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
