OXFORD -– Services for James Percy Randle of Oxford will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Mr. Randle, 52, died of cirrhosis of the liver Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at his home near Oxford.
A Southern Baptist minister, Mr. Randle was an avid fisherman and sports fan. He loved life, lived it to the fullest and was an inspiration to all.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Randle of Oxford; his sister, Sandra Randle of Oxford; three brothers, Merritt Ely Randle and Fred Randle, both of Oxford, and William Smith Randle of Morgan City; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home.
The Rev. David Wendleton and the Rev. Larry Butler will officiate at the services.
Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in Oxford and Wilson and Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in Greenwood.
Burial will be in Itta Bena Cemetery.
