Jessie Crowe Goings, 91, a resident of Franklinton died at 5:40 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a member at Stony Point Missionary Baptist church and the widow of Carl Goings. She is survived by one daughter, Charline Cefalu of Franklinton; one son, Richard Goings of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Wilton Crowe and Charlie Crowe both of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Harriet Bullock, Evelyn Jenkins
both of Franklinton and Maxine Moak of Mt. Hermon; six grandchildren; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Brent King, Eld. James Broome, Eld. Rodney Fernandez and Eld. Mike Brumfield officiating. Burial followed in the Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service were Ronnie Moak, Russell Moak, Scott Moak, Earl Bullock, Nathan Verret, and Billy Ray Breland.
