Obituary: L. Dean Redman, 57, of Breman, Rt. 3 (Lake of the Woods, died at 10:00 am Saturday, Jan. 28, at South Bend Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
A farmer, he was born Jan. 1, 1921 near Bremen to Charles and Charlotte (Price) Redman, and was a lifelong area resident.
Dean was married March 28, 1941 to Marie Aker, who survives. He was a member and former Chief of The Lake of the Woods Fire Dept.
Surviving with his wife, are three children; Mrs. Janice Fettel, of Irvine, Calf., Miss Theresa Redman of Marion; and Dennis Redman of Plymouth; two grandchildren; Three sisters, Gladys Glendaniel of Bremen, Margorie Martin, and Natalie Nunemaker, both of Plymouth: one brother, Dale Redman, of Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Burial will take place ay Bremen Memorial Cemetery, Bremen.
