Born in Prussia to William Friedrich and Catherine Knetsch.

First married Mr.Stoffers, who, according to "legend", fled to Mexico to avoid conscription. He was assumed dead.

Married Henry John or John Henry Janszen, of Germany, at few years later.

Mother of Helena, Emil J., Anna Margaret, August William, Hugo Henry, Louis Gerhard Henry, Adolph Gustav, Albert, and Julia Janszen Windel Traxler.

She has 27 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 30 Great-Great Grandchildren, 30 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Great-Great Grandchildren.(Updated 1-18-2009)

She is my Great-Great Grandmother. It was a thrill to find her headstone. I felt very close to her, since I have been doing so much research on her and her children.
