MRS. P. CONNORS DIES IN HOSPITAL

Following a short illness Mrs. Paul Connors, wife of Lieut. Paul Connors of the San Diego police department, a life-long resident of Old Town, died at St. Joseph's hospital yesterday morning. Both Mrs. Connors and her husband were born in Old Town. Mrs. Connors was the daughter of John Steward, who came around the Horn in the "40's" as a companion of Richard Henry Dana. Before her marriage 35 years ago she was Miss Nieves Steward. Three sisters, a brother and a son survive Mrs. Connors, in addition to her husband. All are residents of Old Town. The sisters are Mrs. Benjamin F. Parsons, Mrs. Louis Serrano and Miss Rosa Steward. The brother is Frank J. Steward. The son is Frank Connors, motorcycle patrolman of the police department, who recently met with injuries in an accident while answering an emergency call. Stewart of North San Diego, a native of North San Diego, aged 60 years 9 months 15 days. Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the church of the Immaculate Conception, North San Diego at 10 o'clock a.m. today (Friday). Interment family plot, Old Catholic cemetery. Funeral arrangements in charge of Johnson-Saum company.
