Jim was born October 12, 1931 in Denison. He did mechanic work for Ben Ivy and worked for Hale's Trailers.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Elmer and Rosa Lee Benedict and his three brothers, Robert Elmer Jr., Paul Ray and Harold Lee Benedict.
Surviving are one brother, Donald Charles Benedict; several nieces and nephews and cousins all over Texas and California; all his friends who lived at Tower Lane and every place he ever lived. Jim was a friend to all.
Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of cremation.
Jim will truly be missed by all his family and friends.
