Born May 11, 1952 in Heber City to Verl and Merle Nicol Wright. Married Vanette Ryan February 14, 1976 in the Provo Temple. He was a devoted husband, father and son. Deputy sheriff for the past 10 years. Enjoyed hunting, target shooting and working with wood. He loved to serve people and was an active member of the LDS Church.

Survived by wife; children, T.J., Nick, Pat, Emma, Marlin, and Gabe; mother, all of Heber City. sisters: Mrs. Gerald (Kaye) Carter, Provo; Mrs. Harold (Karma) Ford, Deer Creek, Wasatch County; Mrs. Wayne (Marsha) Shepherd, Bluffdale; Mrs. John (Marlene) Cummings, Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Glen (Debbie) Earl, Mesa, Arizona.
