Surgoinsville – Funeral services for the Rev. W. H. (Bud) Quarry, 72, retired Methodist clergyman, who died Friday, at his home near here, will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, at the Surgoinsville Methodist Church.
The Rev. Lon Moneyhun, pastor Rogersville Methodist Church and Rev. Johnny Frasier will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. and lie in state for one hour before the service.
Mr. Quarry had served pastorates of the Holston Conference for 32 years.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary Starnes Quarry; two sons, Haskell Quarry, Rogersville, and Pleas Quarry, Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Mrs. Stella Farmer, Rogersville, and Mrs. Maxie Ferrell, Rogersville; a brother, John D. Quarry, Idaho; one half-brother, Burt Quary, Lee Valley, TN; one sister, Mrs. Mollie Fansler, Idaho; and eight grandchildren.
