Steven Henry Sullivan, 36, of Van Buren was entered into rest on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, in Van Buren. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kimberley of nearly 17 years, who is also from Van Buren, and their cat, Desi. Steven is survived by his younger sister, Karen Harshbarger, and his younger brother, Michael, both of Van Buren. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Rosemary Herrell of Fort Smith, and his paternal grandparents, Fred and Mary of New Blaine. Steven also leaves behind many aunts and uncles on both his mother's and father's side, including Don and Angie Herrell of Katy, Texas, Pat and Ray Jordan of Van Buren, Myrna and David Mathews of Georgetown, Ky., and Barry and Carolyn Sullivan of Van Buren. He is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews: Tyler, Andrew and Blake Harshbarger of Van Buren, Christopher, Abby and Macey Skurdahl of Dallas and Autumn Skurdahl of Fort Smith. Steven also leaves behind three brothers-in-law: Gary Harshbarger of Van Buren, Timothy Skurdahl of Dallas and Nathan Skurdahl of Fort Smith as well as his father and mother-in-law, Ed and Donna Skurdahl of Fort Smith.

He was preceded in death by both his mother and father, Fred and Janice Sullivan of Van Buren; and his maternal grandfather, E.V. Herrell of Fort Smith, as well as his aunt, Sherry Mckenzie of Wildflecken, Germany, and his uncle, Alan Sullivan of Henderson, Nev.

Steven was a graduate of Van Buren High School and a lifelong resident of the river valley. He was a valued employee of the O.W. Donald Company in Fort Smith for 13 years, where he worked as a sales manager. Steven also worked for himself in his spare time as an audio/video installer in both homes and cars.

Steven was a beloved husband, brother, uncle and a friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
