MEEKS, ALMA, JEAN, 94, died Monday, October 13, 2008. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie James Givens and Bessie Myers Givens; husband, Elihugh Meeks; daughter, Shirley Meeks. She is survived by her son, Willie D. (Charlotte) Meeks; daughters, Carol Long and Wilma Condra; brother, Vernon Givens; sisters, Carlene (Delbert) Hargis and Bonnie Nelson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, October 15 at the Fall Creek Cemetery with Y.B. Ashby officiating.
