WINNSBORO — Funeral services for Lumas C. Sharp, 64, of Winnsboro, were held at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of First National Funeral Home here with the Rev. Nathan Henderson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Clarence Young.
Burial was in Providence Memorial Park near here.
Mr. Sharp, a member of Lone Cedar Baptist Church, died Tuesday morning at Franklin Parish Hospital here after an illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. R. D. Sharp; one son, Ray Sharp; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Baldwin and Mrs. C. C. Bennett Jr.; all of Winnsboro; three brothers, John D. Sharp of Marshall, Tex., A. C. Sharp of Carthage, Tex., and A. V. Sharp of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. A. J. McCready of Monroe and Mrs. Ilar Osborne of Tallulah; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
