Mr. Saucier made his home in Franklin Parish for about 60 years where he was a farmer. He moved to Westwego about four years ago to make his home with a son.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Lone Cedar Church near Winnsboro. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dollie [sic Allie] Saucier, of New Orleans; five sons, B. J. Saucier, Sr. and Willie V. Saucier, both of Rayville, Joseph Saucier of Baton Rouge, and Alfred E. Saucier, of Westwego; and Woodrow Saucier of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Grady Durbin of Alexandria; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
