Ruth Marie Heiderer, 93, died Aug. 13, 1999, of natural causes in Klamath Falls.
She was born in Wisconsin to Cass and Rose (Oswald) Buckingham. She married Joseph Heiderer on Feb. 12, 1931, in Butternut, Wis. She moved to Klamath County in 1936. She operated a cookhouse for Ellingson Lumber Co. for several years and also was involved in retail sales at Montgomery Ward for many years. Mrs. Heiderer was a member of Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar Society and was very active in Sacred Heart and St. Pius X Catholic churches.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and many crafts.
Survivors include her daughter, June Allers of Malin; daughter and son-in-law Dolores and Bill Delap of Klamath Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Shirley Matchett of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Louise Heiderer of Klamath Falls; and sisters-in-law, Ivis Buckingham of Klamath Falls and Agnes Buckingham of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, John, five brothers and two sisters.
