Mrs. Dorothy Dorn Clark, 47, of 1005 Rossuth Ave., wife of Elmer D. Clark, died Sept. 14, 1956, in St. Elizabeth Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Utica Nov. 10, 1908, a daughter of George and the late May Moorehead Dorn. She was educated in local schools and graduated from the Utica School of Commerce.
On Dec. 26, 1944, she was married to Elmer D. Clark of Utica, in St. Mary's Church. Before her marriage she was employed at the naturalization office of Oneida County Court House for many years. Her husband is employed at Utica Drop Forge and Tool Corp.
Mrs. Clark was a member of St. Agnes Church.
She leaves her husband, a son, David Clark, and a daughter, Sheila Clark, both at home: her father, and a brother, Frank Dorn, both of Utica, several aunts and cousins.
The funeral will be at 9 Monday from the Ortner Funeral Home, 130 Eagle St., and at 9:30 from St. Agnes Church where a requiem high Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hamilton.
