Henry Booher, formerly of this village, died at Yankton, Decotah Territory, last Saturday, of dropsy, aged 69 years. His body will be brought here for burial on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. Mr. Booher went to Decotah from this place about three years ago. All our older citizens will remember Mr. B. as one of the pioneers of this county. March 3 1872 Kalamazoo Daily Telegraph page 4
