Mrs. Huffman, 70, Of Chester Dies
Mrs. Ethel Huffman, 70, who resided one-half mile west of Chester Center, died Thursday at Cooper Rest Home in Bluffton.
Born June 19, 1894 in Chester Twp., she was the daughter of Fred and Agness Shields Crosby. Her marriage was to Carl Huffman, who died in 1958.
Mrs. Huffman was a member of the Chester Center Christian Church and Eastern Star at Montpelier.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dale Ruble of Poneto Route 1 and Mrs. Blanche Kyle of Montpelier; two sons, Dr. Galen Huffman of Bluffton and Clyde of Liberty Center; one sister, Mrs. Grace Speece of Montpelier; one brother, Charles Crosby of Poneto Route 1; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Walker Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today.
Services will be held at 2 p.m Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Francis Huffman and Rev. Dewey Zent officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery at Montpelier.
