Mary Elizabeth Quarry wife of Otis Quarry of 1108 Fifth Ave., Duncansville, died at 7:05 a.m. at the Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after an illness of six weeks. She was born in Duncansville, Dec. 18, 1911, a daugher of William and Cora Dodson. She married Mr. Quarry Dec. 25, 1931. Surviving are her husband, her mother, and these brothers and sisters: Ralph Dodson of Hubbard, OH, Harold and Wirth, both of Struthers, OH, Robert of Girard, OH., Mrs. Sadie Keckler and Mrs. Nettie Wilt of Altoona and Mrs. Elva Long of Duncansville.
Mrs. Quarry was a member of the Hicks Memorial Methodist Church, Duncansville. Friends will be received at the home after 6 o'clock Wednesday evening and Thursday. Services Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Hicks Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. Norman R. Wagner officiating. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. (Wed 10/7/1948)
