Curtis Stewart, age 80, of Russellville died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at his home. A son of the late Harvey and Judy Gorman Stewart, he was born June 27, 1928, in Russellville. He had been an employee of Con-Agra Frozen Foods for over 25 years and was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Keith Harvey Stewart; two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Doretha Stewart; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Johnny Chenault of Russellville and Kelvin and Marilyn Stewart of Forrest City; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ednasue Davis of Little Rock, Debra and James Cole of Fort Smith, and Karren and Ivy Alexander of Tulsa; a sister, Ella Brockman of Russellville; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, officiated by the Supt. S.D. Mitchell. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park by Shinn Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
