RETIRED FARMER DIES AT HIS DELPHOS HOME
Infirmities of old age caused the death Wednesday of 10:15 p.m. of Solomon Mericle, 80, Delphos, retired farmer, at the home of his daughter Mrs. Jospeh Stocklin, 301 S. Cass St. His last illness dated back six weeks. He was in failing health for three years.
Mrs. Joseph Stocklin of Delphos and Perry Mericle and Mrs. Clara Mullenhour, east of Delphos; also two stepchildren, Charles Mullenhour, Lima and Mrs. Josephine Foust, near Scott's Crossing.
Mericle formerly owned a farm five miles east of Delphos, but retired 20 years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Stoklin home in Delphos. Interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
